If you have bulk cargo to ship, such as animal feed, wheat, corn or other dry bulk products, this is the facility that delivers. Product is unloaded from rail hopper cars into an underground auger system to a conveyor belt which moves the product to a loading auger. The auger loads product to containers ensuring maximum payloads and proper weight distribution. This covered bulk loading facility includes two loading systems and two 80-foot truck scales. In addition to bulk goods, the Airport Way operation also handles lumber, overdimensional cargo, and bags. It has a 15,000 square foot of warehouse space with 14 truck doors, 18 railcar spots, reciprocal switching and is served by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
